Skip to main content Aim for success, not perfection. Never give up your right to be wrong, because then you will lose the ability to learn new things and move forward with your life. Remember that fear always lurks behind perfectionism. David M. Burns  The difference between school and life? In school, you’re taught a lesson and then given a test. In life, you’re given a test that teaches you a lesson. Tom Bodett  If people did not do silly things, nothing intelligent would ever get done. Ludwig Wittgenstein

Athletic Information

General Information

All students must have their full and completed athletic packets on file prior to the first day of participation in a sport, including tryouts. Athletic packets can be picked up in the main office. In that packet is a proof of a physical form and proof of insurance form. If the athletic packet is not filled out, the athlete will not be able to tryout. Good luck!

REMEMBER, all athletes trying out must have a current physical packet(LINK) on file to tryout. If 8th graders played or tried out for a sport last year, they do not need another physical. 7th grade continuing student-athletes who played a sport earlier in the school year do not need another physical.

If students are trying out for a sport, students need to attend all tryout days unless there is a cut made.

Important: Regarding transportation, if a student-athlete is not going to ride the bus back to school from an away game, the coach can only release the student directly to a parent and only with a signed transportation release form. Thank you for your cooperation.

DCSD Transportation Release Form: If you plan to pick your son or daughter up from a sporting event, field trip, or some other off campus activity you will need to complete the DCSD Transportation Release form and give it to the coach/sponsor of the off campus activity.  You will also need to be on the student’s emergency contact information in Infinite Campus, and you will need to show your government issued photo ID.  The form is on the link below for you to be able to print it out if you desire.
